The distillery has been re-opened just less than a year in the same plant that has been there since before Prohibition! The tour is informative about the long history of the distillery and also about how to appropriately taste bourbon. We enjoyed it! On site...More

I’ve been on a few bourbon distillery tours, and they’re pretty much the same, but this one excels for a few reasons. First, this is a truly historic distillery, which back in the day was a giant player in the field. The Old Fashioned cocktail?...More

We had the last tour of the day on a cold, wet Sunday. Rather than rushing us through, Evan gave us a great private tour of the distillery and we learned tons about the history and the process. After touring some of the big distilleries...More

The tour was about one hour long. Ben was a great tour guide. Liked that we got to keep our bourbon glasses. We got to sample two kinds of Kentucky bourbon and one kind of Kentucky rye whiskey.

Ben was AWESOME! Tour was great and informative, history mixed with humor! Only thing I was disappointed in was paying full price for my teenage daughter who of course was not tasting anything.

This was my favorite out of the entire Bourbon Trail. Has a great story and interesting history. Tour was just the right length. The cask strength rye was amazing - wish I had bought a bottle there because you can’t get it anywhere else.
