The distillery has been re-opened just less than a year in the same plant that has been there since before Prohibition! The tour is informative about the long history of the distillery and also about how to appropriately taste bourbon. We enjoyed it! On site...More
The #1 ranking for things to do in Lexington lives up to the expectations. Interesting history, thorough explanation of the bourbon distilling process, and an engaging tour guide. Thanks Marjorie for the fun afternoon.

What a wonderful up close look at what goes in to making and distilling bourbon! The Pepper Distillery was the highlight of our trip to Kentucky. Ben was our tour guide. He was delightful and very informative. We will be back!

This was my favorite out of the entire Bourbon Trail. Has a great story and interesting history. Tour was just the right length. The cask strength rye was amazing - wish I had bought a bottle there because you can’t get it anywhere else.
