When you get to the Visitor's Gate, you need a photo ID such as a valid Driver's License. Once you are allowed access to the Fort, the Museum is fairly easy to find. It is a very informative museum, especially about Patton's leadership philosophy which...More

Awesome to visit and see the exhibits. Something everyone should at least once. This is a solo tour. You enter the door and walk and take your time exploring the exhibits. The tour does not cost anything they just ask for donations when you leave....More

I've never seen an open tank there but there's been quite a lot of work there in the last year or so. There is still a lot to look at and plenty of static displays to see.

No T-29 at the Patton Museum now, or anywhere at Fort Knox. The two examples at Fort Knox (I believe there were two, not sure) were sent to Fort Benning, where they are in storage.

Can do it in about 1.5 to 2 hours as we did as we were on a time crunch.
