Beautiful setting. Helpful staff. Lots of native plants and all of great condition. Beats Bunnings. Find the hard to buy plants too. Nice playground for kids too.

What a beautiful place, went to buy some native plants and spent an hour walking around. Mainly native plants, many large plants but also cheaper small pots at less than $4 each. Signs provide good information on settings to help design the garden.
Unique playground for the kids.
Staff very knowledgeable and helpful, enjoyed the visit and came aways with some native plants.

At first the wonderland of plants was quite overwhelming, but with the help of a wonderfully knowledgeable staff member we learned a lot about native plants and found what our garden needs.
So much to consider - light and shade, sand or soil, etc. Good job the native plants are hardy - they need to be, with us!

Went to Zanthorrea Nursery in Maida Vale yesterday and it was brilliant! The staff were super helpful as I know nothing about native plants! They are walking books of knowledge on all sorts of aspects of gardening. The plants are really good and very well priced. Definitely worth a visit if you're thinking of buying anything for your garden. They also have a play area for the children and a section of 'smell me' plants for everyone to try.

Hi Macca, I'd suggest you give Zanthorrea Nursery a call. Their staff are all very well qualified and extremely helpful. Most of them have horticultural training or qualifications. That's one of the main reasons I go there when I need plants, because you get good advice at the same time.
Hope this helps? They're open all weekend too.
