My husband and I spent two months working here in September and October. It has something for everyone! Hiking, hunting, fishing, horse back riding, disc golf (with great tournaments!), mountain biking and swimming.October brings Nightmare Forest, a horrifyingly scary experience if you like that sort of thing. As well in the campground every weekend in the month is Halloween time, with costume contests, chili cook offs, trick or treating and all sorts of fun stuff for families. But get your reservation in early! The campground sells out fast!

In all it's a beautiful place to see deer, squirrels and go to lover's leap for a fantastic view of the river.

Beautiful view of the Ohio River down by the boat launch. There picnic tables but no porta pottys. Drove by what was probably a lodge at one time. It had been vandalized. Broken windows and glass everywhere. Hiking trails were ok. Overall appearance of the park was a bit rundown. Needs more trash cans and pottys.

Was here for Ragnar Trail run event and was on most of the trails. Some are flat, most have hills. You get overlook views of the Ohio and the Otter Creek valley. One trail goes along the creek and under some cliffs. I saw a fly fisherman in the creek...pretty cool. They have a frisbee golf course and a small RV camp ground. I don't know if mountain bikes are allowed or not, I didn't see any tracks on the trails, so I would double check that. This is a very peaceful place for a day trip. Spartan accommodations for sure...or minimalistic is a better word.

It was our first visit there and was very nice. We drove around to all of the sites first and then choose a trail to hike. I loved not having to pay to get in!

No otters! Wonderful drive through the wilderness with beautiful views of the Ohio river. Disappointed with lack of wildlife - saw one squirrel.

Came here as part of the Ragnar Trail running relay series. Great trails to run or walk. Vistas of the Ohio River, but also along Otter Creek. Saw a person fly fishing in the creek on Saturday morning. Has a camp site. The Frisbee golf course looks awesome.

Living nearby, I have had the opportunity to visit Otter Creek many times. While there are many activities you can do there I often go there to hike. There are many trails to hike and if you would like, there are enough to keep you hiking all day. The park and trails are well cared for. There is a good deal of wildlife and there are some amazing views as you hike above the Ohio River. Take your family, or just yourself, and visit Otter Creek

I remember going here as a kid and it just wasn't what I remembered. The lodge is left abandoned. There were hiking trails but we didn't try any today and people were playing in the creek and having picnics. There was also a camping area but I didn't see the cabins that use to be there. The only bathrooms we saw were port o potties. It does cost to get in and they accept cards. It wasnt awful but not the best we have visited and the only one that has cost recently. We may have a different opinion if we had the chance to try out some of the trails. The good thing is the park isn't just shut down!

Family decided to take the children camping. Close to 100 children and 40 adults. Sounds more like a Family Reunion. No a camping trip and we all had a blast. Fishing, hiking, swimming in the creek, playing cards by the camp fire, and simply sitting and talking by the camp fire. All in all things we take for granted and never have time to do. Well during this camping trip we did a lot more than we planned. Most importantly we all prayed together, sat and ate meals together, and laughed a bunch...Oh not to forget the city children made smores by the camp fire. The staff at the park are some great and outstanding folks. Fantastic Customer Service. GREAT TIME. Already talking about the next trip
