This is a local state park with plenty of picnic areas. A lot of playground equipment for the younger ones. Shaded and sunny seating for a picnic lunch or grilling out. Wonderful for family reunions with a basket ball court, gift shop, and Miniature Golf....More

This is a nice place to stop and picnic. It is well-kept and worth the time to stop. Stopped here on Labor Day and there was NO crowd. Good place to relax and enjoy the beautiful bliss of nature

He was the 1st white man to build a house in the state of Kentucky in 1750, 17 years before Daniel Boone.
