I took my 6-year-old daughter on a cave tour. She really loved it. It is a nice cool break in the summer since it was less than 60 degrees in the cave. Other than a couple of bigger puddles, it was very easy to navigate...More

This is a tunnel cave with lots of different kinds of formations. The guide was personable, well informed, and passed along a lot of history and geological information. Enjoyed by 14 and 70 year olds. Easy to get to.

Nice quick cave tour dealing with the formations and the actual tiny crystal lake cave. The store has some nice pieces and you can do some "mining" with their water slew to filter out the gemstones/fossils in your bag.

Thank you for your kind review. We really do strive to do our best. We, the management, love rewarding our guides (monetarily) since they are mostly college students. Do you by any chance remember his/her name? Or physical description? -Julie Crystal Lake Cave, L.L.C.

Awesome cave with lots of history. Wear good shoes that you don't mind getting a little wet. Tour guide was very informative. Definitely must see! Tour takes about 45 minutes and the temp is 52-ish degrees year round. Bring a sweatshirt or light jacket.

Depending on your height,. People carry weight in different ways. I've seen many larger people go through the cave just fine. Thank-you for your inquiry.
