The palace built between 1698-1702 is beautiful and the lake and garden are even better. There is a forest smell in the air which picks up your spirits after car clogged Bucharest. BUT it can be very crowded with picnickers on the weekends. Inside the...More

It is a nice escape from the city, with great atmosphere. The palace is great to visit, and also the beautiful park and its surroundings. It is also very kids friendly.

The day we visited people were setting up for a large function which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the building. However our guide was a fountain of information about the buildings and the family, the males of which were executed by the Ottoman Turks....More

This complex was built between late 17 - early 18 century in Mogoșoaia, just 10 km near modern Bucharest by Constantin Brâncoveanu in Romanian Renaissance style or just Brâncovenesc style. Don't expect to see a lot of history - it's more the remnants and the...More

The palace is very nice to see it because of its architecture, the gardens that surround it and the river that offers a very peaceful atmosphere. However, I was dissapointed by the inner of the palace. It doesn't contain components of historical meaning, but only...More

Built in an unique style by the great Valachian prince, Constantin Brancoveanu, the palace now shelters a museum. The garden is awesome in Spring, becoming a paradise for a sea of iris flowers. Excellent place for a picnic. A hidden gem not to be missed!

I like it even if is not so big, but because is more wild. You have a playground for children, space to picnik on the grass under the big old trees, places to eat, the lake, alley for joging. Not quite aprproate for bikes
