Excellent weekend walking location near Bucharest. The lunch experience was a good one, just decent meals in a pleasant location and atmosphere. Short menu, very extensive. Pleasant location & atmosphere

We have been here before to visit everything around the estate. This time we had some guests and asked for an English tour. It was same ticket price, very cheap. The lady held a 30 minutes tour for all the rooms, explaining the different phases,...More

Palace, parc and lake. Perfect for an afternoon getaway. Just a few km from Bucharest lies one of the jewels left from one of Romania s greatest rulers, Brancoveanu. If you want to get away from the city, admire the architectural style or get in...More

The palace built between 1698-1702 is beautiful and the lake and garden are even better. There is a forest smell in the air which picks up your spirits after car clogged Bucharest. BUT it can be very crowded with picnickers on the weekends. Inside the...More

It is a nice escape from the city, with great atmosphere. The palace is great to visit, and also the beautiful park and its surroundings. It is also very kids friendly.

The day we visited people were setting up for a large function which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the building. However our guide was a fountain of information about the buildings and the family, the males of which were executed by the Ottoman Turks....More
