Traveled about 3.5 hours to see the museum. It was worth the drive. Great people working there and there was a lot of things to see. Plan on at least 3 hours.

Thank you! We always tell people at least 2 hours - but we have grown with the 4-H museum!

This was so awesome. I know it is in the middle of nowhere or in otherwords beautiful Iowa but it is worth the detour. Loved it. Amazing collection of old vehicles, toys, horse drawn equipment, wooden models and incredible displays.

One step into this museum and you immediately know it is different. VERY clean. Each display appears to be well thought out. You start with visiting several main street stores, and then get to see quite a number of restored tractors, buggies, sleighs, farm equipment,...More

Bud C. was our tour guide. He loved to tell about the many displays. There was something for everyone! Everything from Boyd's bears to renovated store fronts to tractors! Clean, organized, informative! Stop there. Took us 3 hours, but could have spent more time there!

Very helpful and knowledgeable (volunteer) staff who obviously enjoy their jobs. The library inside the museum held many fascinating old books, periodicals, land and tax records, etc. The tractors and buggies were fun to see.

This museum seemed to have something of interest for everyone. Easily walked through with benches for resting for older folks if necessary. Great array of history in there. I recommend it if visiting Clarion, IA.

We took our 3 grandsons to this museum. With a tribute to the history of rural Iowa, this is a must see. The volunteers were able to answer questions, and helped make it interesting for kids. Amazing gem in a small town!
