The History Center is currently in the process of restoring and renovating the Douglas Mansion on 2nd Ave for our move there in Fall of 2018. Our administrative offices are currently located on Oakland road, but please note that there are no exhibits at this location. To see a History Center exhibit, please visit the downtown Cedar Rapids Public Library. You can learn more about our upcoming move and our current programs at our website.

The CR History Center was awesome. If you enjoy history, this place is for you. Great information and at times the center spotlights an area or business or organization. I will be back
