Today was first Saturday of our Zionsville Farmers Market and husband and I bought some produce. Next week we will buy Vietnamese Egg Rolls, strawberry cake donuts, a pretty flower bouquet and more produce. I love to look at all the well-behaved well-groomed dogs and cute babies too❤

Upscale but worth it local produce, good prepared foods (breakfast burritos and Stromboli vendors especially) and nice live music. Major downside: adding to the human crush, way too many dogs whose owners think a leash is their only public obligation. Dogs do not belong in such a narrow, crowded market.

Zionsville is fortunate to have this treasure! A very nice farmers market with a wide selection of offerings. Starts in May and goes until September from 8 to 11 am on Saturday mornings. While the fruit and vegetable selections might vary over time - generally very nice selections of all manner of seasonal fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses, snacks, plants, breads, pies, dressings, honey, flowers, etc. from local farmers and vendors. There are also vendors selling coffee and breakfast items as well. For a nice touch, there are usually musicians performing as well.
I am always excited when the farmers market season starts as this makes a nice Saturday morning quick trip and it represents a sure sign of the bounty of summer. It is definitely possible to probably find all your food needs to prepare a nice fresh Saturday night or Sunday dinner!

Produce quality and variety are usually pretty good, especially in July and August. Go early! The many dog owners in this community ruin the whole experience with their "adorable" pets that they believe everyone should love. A late friend of mine used to say, "Kids and animals are just alike; you love your own and to hell with everyone else's."

I love going to the Zville Farmers market on Saturday mornings. There is such a variety of things to choose from. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies as well as local honey, various flowers and plants along with wonderful cheese from the the Tulip Tree. You will also hear some wonderful live music and a host of smells such as fresh cinnamon rolls. Or maybe you just like to people watch there are plenty to watch. Something for everyone!!

Right downtown, nearby parking lots, free tot bags (a nice touch), and a good variety of veggie stands, fruits, meats, baked items, even a pasta stand. The food is superb - the doughnut truck sells the biggest gooiest donuts ever, the breakfast buritos are very tasty, and the coffee stand sells exotic choices. In other words, go for breakfast on a Saturday morning, and then stock up on great locally grown/made foods.

My wife and I enjoyed the market. It had vendors with everything from plants and vegetables to pies to dog treats. If you are thinking about visiting, I highly recommend. After you are done at the farmers market, you can enjoy many local shops along Main Street and you don’t even have to move your car. Several local eating establishments as well.

I happened to be in Zionsville one Saturday this summer and discovered their Sat. morning Farmer's Market! It's located at the south end of their historic downtown (filled with all sorts of wonderful shops and cafes!) There was a wide variety of vendors, including those selling produce, baked goods and even local farm-raised shrimp! I bought some delectable brie cheese that I would definitely buy again!

From the farm fresh produce to the home baked bread you won't find a better hometown farmers market. It's nestled in the quaint brick paved city of Zionsville so the entire experience is worth the trip!

Attending the Zionsville Farmer's Market is the highlight of our weekends. Great vegetables, fruit, local brown eggs, and even plants. Best part is the assembling of friendly vendors and meeting friends and neighbors.
