Even being along a busy main road, the rose garden made for the perfect backdrop for my senior pictures. Even in mid-October, the roses were in full bloom and were absolutely stunning.

We enjoyed our walk around the garden. The roses are wonderful full of fragrance and color. Such a peaceful walk around the paths with several benches to sit and ponder the beauty.

The Rose Garden in Richmond is a lovely little oasis along a noisy major city street. On October 15, 2016, the roses were probably past their prime, but there were still quite a few perfect blooms. This garden isn't spectacular, but it's worth stopping to...More

In the summertime there is no prettier place in town to visit. If you love roses, this is a must-see. The gazebo is a lovely place to rest while taking in the blossoms, and the fountain is very nice as well. And if you're a...More

What a gem! The rose garden is tranquil and inviting; it's fun to wander among the roses bushes and enjoy their beauty, or just relax in the gazebo with a friend. I can only imagine how spectacular this would be for a wedding!

All done by volunteers, attached to gold course and right off the street/sidewalk. Had over 100 varieties of roses - never seen so many in my life, and at least 10 diff colors. Some stalks had 2 types of roses on one stalk. Pretty gazebo...More

This place is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk around and the roses that were in bloom were spectacular. It wasn't too hot when we were there on a breezy June day so we enjoyed it thoroughly.

The site was well maintained. We enjoyed the variety of roses. Even though the park is next to SR 40, it still had an air of peacefulness. It is easily accessible. There are benches if you want to just sit and enjoy the beauty.
