We visited mid week and in the afternoon after having lunch in Olinda. At this time of day it was very easy to park, but I believe on weekends it's super busy. We did the walk up the steep steps and it can be slippery...More

A great walk with great history associated with it.I wouldn't describe it as very steep as it does at the start and it took me 17m instead of 50 doing a fast walk. Very different to any other walk with the amount of steps obviously...More

很多遠足愛好者都會走到這裡,所以不用擔心安全! if you are living in city and would like to get a short term walk with some hills, here is your best choice! dont be scared of the number of steps. 1000 steps are very easy for beginners as the stairs are built in...More

I am Leo. I am a traveler from Myanmar. I visited Kokoda Traul Memorial Walk 2 days back. It is commonly known as “1000 steps.” It is amazing as the trek is neither too long nor too short. It took 25 minutes to complete the...More

Great place for sightseeing especially for the active. As a frequent user I Do NOT recommend taking young children on the trail as large uneven steps that can be slippery and dangerous let alone exhausting Also watch out for leaches in the wetter weather and wasps...More

I loved this. I really wanted to make it to the top of the 100 steps (make sure you take the 1000 step trail (not the fitness steps). The Rambler Track takes you to the base of the steps along an easy trail, or you...More

I have just started doing the 1000 steps again after not visiting for many years. It is well signposted and well organised with toilets and a cafe at the bottom, drinking fountains dotted around the park and more drinking fountains at the top of the...More

The purpose of this trail is not to get to the top in the quickest time, it's to understand what others had to endure for their country. As you climb the steps, there's stories along the way, take the time to read them, the story...More

My mother my two kids (7 at the time and 10 months in a carrier) and I enjoyed doing the 1000 steps. The air was fresh and it was satisfying to get to the top. We even met some people on our walk and shared...More

A great walk with nearby eateries either a drive away or short walk to the 1000 step cafe. Bring comfortable shoes and also be mindful that it is much cooler, so a jumper may be required. BBQ facilities available with a children's playground.
