Very nicely done park. We went for the walking path. Good location for some party members to chill while the others take a walk.

This is a great place for hiking, for having a picnic with the family, or taking the kids to let them play as well.

This is a nice place, with a lovely playground. Our children like it. There is no cost and it has a nice fishing pond too.

This park just expanded its trail by adding a second historic bridge over Indian Creek. Now you can walk all the way from Hayswood to downtown Corydon on a fairly flat paved path. This is a little over 2 miles one way. You can also continue the trail to the YMCA getting a 3 mile walk one way. It follows the stream so there are often deer, ducks, herons, and geese. The park also has a very nice playground and basketball court. There is a fishing lake and several shelter houses for picnics.

For my purpose of jogging, I prefer the small level dirt trail in the Corydon battlefield, but for most group outings, this is nice. It is a large park with lots to offer, too much to list. And a great variety.

Have a couple playgrounds and lots of grass for the kids to run around. Little pond at the bottom of the hill. There are usually lots of geese there. They have nice paved 1 mile walking trail that goes along the creek. Beautiful views and sometimes wildlife. I have about run into several deer when there early in the morning. They are currently expanding and it will be even nicer when it's completed.

This is a nice park. They have a paved flat trail for all to use. It is great for strollers or wheelchairs, walkers and runners. They have wooded hiking trails. They have a fishing pond. My family loves to fish in Indian creek. There are basketball courts and playground equipment. It is a great place to just unwind. Many people picnic there and others hold parties.Hayswood is a great little park.

We day-tripped from Louisville to historic Corydon. After touring the relatively new Indiana Caverns, we strolled about Hayswood for an hour or so. Very nice and clean, and the creek views made it more special, as did the picturesque restored historic bridge. The weather was spectacularly beautiful today, and a number of local folks were out strolling as well, several with their canine companions. Not crowded at all. Spied a couple of blue heron, a favorite bird. Definitely would visit again and explore another section.
