We visited along with our daughter and two of our grandchildren, ages 2 and 4. We had a picnic and then went to the new playground. It is a very nice large playground with numerous ladders and slides along with other features.. The slides were very hot because they were in full sun. We were afraid the kids would burn their legs on them. Our daughter also thought the equipment was best for children a little older. The whole park is very nice with numerous places to picnic, walking trails, and a creek. We even saw a bald eagle flying overhead.

This park just expanded its trail by adding a second historic bridge over Indian Creek. Now you can walk all the way from Hayswood to downtown Corydon on a fairly flat paved path. This is a little over 2 miles one way. You can also continue the trail to the YMCA getting a 3 mile walk one way. It follows the stream so there are often deer, ducks, herons, and geese. The park also has a very nice playground and basketball court. There is a fishing lake and several shelter houses for picnics.

Very nicely done park. We went for the walking path. Good location for some party members to chill while the others take a walk.

I absolutely love the new playground. The hours are not what they say on the website. One day back in February when the weather was nice they were closed. Today was an amazing spring day and they closed an hour early. Sad faces and alot of tears. If your going to close early atleast put it on the website!

Our kids love the multiple playgrounds and even some of the older equipment, like the merry-go-round. There are lots of spots to have a picnic or you can bring charcoal and cook out on one of the many grills located throughout the park.

We used to travel to other areas to find a nice place to hike and picnic but this little park has improved greatly over the last year. new handicap accessible restrooms, picnic areas, and even a paved trail loop that winds through fields, woods, creekside, even a bridge across the creek, and an option of veering off unto a gravel path for a different walk. Great place now for events, picnics, hiking, a bit of biking, and walking the dogs. clean, well kept with several options for walking, hiking or relaxing.
