If you’re around the area for some reason and want to get steps in while also enjoying a relaxed atmosphere then this is the place! There are rental places for venues and a large pond, as well as A Children’s Garden with swing sets. This is overall very well designed and beautiful, in all four seasons!

Coxhall was created from land donated to Hamilton county by a well-known Indiana entrepreneur and his wife,Jesse and Beulah Cox, who wanted their "oasis" to survive the urban sprawl of housing development upon housing development.
125-acre park includes the elegant Centerpiece, twin 90-feet bell towers, a recreation lake, and Children's Garden, which features "village stores, echo walls, peek-a-boo hills, sun dial, and Tiki huts". Campbell Crossing, which is connected to the Centerpiece and surrounded by water on two sides, serves as a serene location for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. A focal point of the park, however, is what has come to be known as the centerpiece, a terraced mini-amphitheater with a belvedere that is surrounded by a multi-level fountain. A decent-sized pond, paved walking path, a separate children's mini-park with climbing apparatus.
We came here to watch the Fireworks on the Fourth of July. It was a beautiful 360 view of all the fireworks going off in the neighboring counties. We will definitely be doing this again next year.

Coxhall Gardens is a lovely area to just walk around and appreciate nature, especially in the spring when the flowers are just blooming.

Wow, I just had a private tour of the mansion. If you are a 70s or 80s affectionate like I am it will please on every level. Curtain magnet Mr Coxhall left a legacy for the residence of Indiana.

Beautiful place to visit. If you enjoy taking photos there are a lot of photo ops here. We went in the fall and it was perfect. Would love to see it in the spring with everything in bloom.

Great tour of mansion inspired by the Governor's Mansion in Williamsburg, Virginia. Visitors are greeted by amazing wall coverings, window treatments as well as an intimate look into the life of this multi-talented couple. The surrounding park is beautifully manicured and to be enjoyed as well.

Maybe I was not there at an opportune time, I did not really see anything of interest except for the bell towers. Well manicured lawns with lots of open space but it was very hot when I was there and I expected to see more trees in a park. It would have been nice to hear the bells.

I visit coxhall weekly as it is near my home. I love to walk my dog in the park. My favorite time to go is early in the morning when it isn't crowded and my dog can run off leash before others gather. I love listening to the chimes of the bell tower also. It's picturesque and tranquil. It's a great place to meditate, walk, or just hang out. It's a perfect spot for photo opportunities.

Coxhall Gardens has two lovely lakes, an amazing amphitheatre where concerts are sometimes held, a children's village which is so much fun, and lots of green space to relax, fly kites or whatever you want. It's big enough that it's never crowded. It's a very special place.
