Smaller size Zoo with both Aussie and international animals. Well set out it was a overcast day so the animals weren't active. Take warm clothing all year round. Good canteen selling basics, fish and chips, toasted sandwiches coffee etc.
A pleasant zoo, with a laid back atmosphere and a considerable collection of animals. My wife, her friend and myself enjoyed it very much so. Highly recommended for the kids, both little and grown up! :)
The habitats were unique and so different from normal habitats at other zoos. Staff were constantly available to assist in getting around. Animal encounters were so enjoyable and truly different from others. Highly recommend.
This was an unplanned visit; we saw the sign and said why not! We were very pleasantly surprised by the zoo, it's enclosures, exhibits and staff. Being mainlanders, we were not very knowledgable about Tasmanian Devils and so were very happy to see them and...More
