This is a lovely restored SINGLE train car with display cases with period items such as lanterns and conductor uniforms. Free will donations accepted. Not appropriate for tots.

Once you pay to get in they have several free guided tours of the different areas of the museum. I would recommend that you do the tours because you will learn a lot and know what you are looking at.

Short, simple, tour of old trains. Children's museum is also there to explore. My kids enjoyed and we had a nice trip. If they had been younger... T would have been AWESOME.

Neat place for kids. Great if you are mechanically minded or just awestruck by large machines. Go early so you can get in on the train car tours. Great facility with friendly staff. However be out of the gift shop by 5:00 pm. Apparently the...More

This was a great place with a lot of examples of rail history. Being able to ride the rail on site with a tour guide and other guided tours are included in the price and makes great use of all the structures on the site...More

Along with the engines, passenger cars and stoch cars there is a lot of buildings and machinery used to restore and maintain the equipment. They also have two model railroads and a hand car you can run.
