This is a lovely restored SINGLE train car with display cases with period items such as lanterns and conductor uniforms. Free will donations accepted. Not appropriate for tots.

Once you pay to get in they have several free guided tours of the different areas of the museum. I would recommend that you do the tours because you will learn a lot and know what you are looking at.

Short, simple, tour of old trains. Children's museum is also there to explore. My kids enjoyed and we had a nice trip. If they had been younger... T would have been AWESOME.

This was a fun and educational stop. They have a live steam engine (tank engine) and it made its first trip in the afternoon, initially later than I wanted to stay. But tours of a couple of the private cars and of the round house...More

My three year old would have stayed all day. It's not just fun for the kids, lot for parents too see and get involved with too. The train ride was my favorite part! It was even better sharing that memory with my son.

They have alot of things going on.get to ride a handcar(grandy dancer)and take a short ride on a coal fired steam locomotive plus tour old dinning cars
