We always come down here, no matter the weather. The beach is fabulous, especially when it's empty. It's about a 4km walk there & back between the jettys. Always changing, the sea is fab, & the sand is clean. There's lots of free parking, &...More

Another beautiful S.A. beach. Clean sand, clean water, great pubs and cafes, spacious rec areas, great people watching... and the most magnificent sunsets ive ever seen.

While there are better beaches, this is an easily accessible beach that is great for long walks. Sunsets are particularly amazing. There are cafes and a few pubs within easy walking distance. Keep walking on to West Beach and Glenelg in one direction or towards...More

Went for lunch at the nearby Henley Beach Hotel. Enjoyed the beach. Very easy access. Only shortcoming was that parking was hard to find on a sunny Sunday around noon. Should not be a problem on a weekday.

You can actually change clothes/bathers in the roomy and new toilet facilities on the square (in front of "Stella's") It's not a changing room facility per se but the structure is new and quite OK for changing gear.

Yes, about 30 mins walk (or 11 mins by bus) from Henley Beach is the 'GRNG' railway station. This railway station is just a few streets back from the coastline.
