While exploring Ottawa, we spent 30 minutes in the riverside park. I marveled at the old raised railroad bridge from a bench on the shore. There are several pavilions spread the length of the park with grills. There are also a couple boat launch ramps,...More

This is a nice small but pretty and peaceful park. It is by the river. This is a great place for a family picnic or lunch by the water. The geese there are funny too.

We park in this lot at night while fishing and have never had a problem. Good boat launches also. Park is very well maintained and easy to find.

We use both sets of boat ramps to launch our fishing boat on the Illinois River. The city keeps the park in nice condition. At lot of people like to cookout and watch the river traffic go by

Great place to chill and hope a barge goes by! Plenty of parking and benches. Fun to pick up food in town and take it here.

Stopped by there after starved rock with the kids to wear them out. The play area was fun for the kids and sitting by the river relaxed me at the same time.
