We had a great early morning visit. We got there first before all the tourists arrived. There were 6 tarsiers in the area. We saw three. The guide made sure we were quiet and didn't scare the tarsiers. We got some close up pictures without scaring them. We saw a nice video before we entered so we would know more about the tarsiers. My wife and I really enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

We got dropped off here while on a private tour right when they were first opening in the morning and it was very quiet (no crowds). The local conversation guide that takes you to see few of the tarsier that are visible to the public was excellent - she was quiet & respectful of the animals and took great photos. Seeing these little creatures was the highlight of Bohol for us.

The Sanctuary is small in size, which is perfect for viewing these creatures. There is a little bit of parking out front for cars, busses and scooters. There is a gift shop and a place to get some drinks, ice cream etc.

Was a bit apprehensive about bringing my daughter here due to noise she may make. But the guides were very friendly and helpful showing us were tasiers were. Very quick walk thru forest but worth it.

- Walking route within the sanctuary is easy
- Cute creature that will not move much, good for photo opportunity

(-)
- How many Tarsiers you encounter purely depend on luck. I was able to see about 2-3.

We went at about 4pm which is near to closing time so we are the only guest there so we have the whole place to ourselves.

The guide showed us the 4 different resting tarsier easily enough and apparently the tarsiers are free to roam in and out of the compound

Appreciate that the guide did not harassed the tarsier for any photo shot

From what i heard (i did not go the other one though), this sanctuary is much less of a zoo compared to the one in Loboc where the tarsier are basically captives in the area

My recent visit to Tarsier Sanctuary in Bohol left me thoroughly impressed and filled with joy.

The people at the sanctuary were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Their genuine passion for preserving the tarsiers' natural habitat was evident in their interactions with visitors.

I had the privilege of witnessing numerous tarsiers during my visit. These small and enchanting creatures captivated me with their unique appearance and fascinating behavior. Seeing them up close was an unforgettable experience that truly highlighted the importance of conservation efforts.

What made the visit even better was the affordable cost of entry. At just 150 pesos, it provided exceptional value for the experience and knowledge gained.

In summary, Tarsier Sanctuary in Bohol exceeded my expectations. The friendly people, abundance of tarsiers, and affordable admission fee made it a truly memorable visit. I highly recommend this sanctuary to anyone seeking a captivating and educational encounter with these remarkable creatures.

So adorable. Got to go when here. Take mozzie repellent. The workers took the best upclose plots for us. So cute

We had read the reviews and decided to visit here rather than the conservation park as the Tarsier Foundation are doing some great work in protecting the Tarsier population and the money goes to the foundation and helping them to continue their good work. The entrance was 150P and our guide was extremely respectful of the tarsiers and was able to take us to see 4 different tarsiers hiding in the vegetation - we were delighted that we got to see them in the foliage.

We were also glad that they enforce a silence policy here to ensure that the tarsiers are not disturbed and that they are free to roam in the forested area. We are really glad we had the opportunity to see them.
