It's now the McHenry Brewing Company. Stopped in for a brew and met Bob the new owner. They are currently serving guest beers until theirs are ready. I enjoyed the stout I had and will definitely stop back next time I am visiting McHenry.

Great local brews in an intimate environment with good entertainment. I hope it keeps up the same concept with the upcoming change of hands

Awesome place to visit. Very Friendly and Veteran Friendly. This place has been a brewery since 1868, that's right 1868. Go and enjoy a great drink and a awesome road trip.

Great beer but a bit expensive. I love craft beer and I know it cost more to brew than the big brewers, but the price has to come down...

This is a very small brewery with amazing beers with unique tastes. The owner limits the opening hours to focus on the quality of life and I suspect that this wisdom has been brewing in the beer offerings. Cheers...Hippie Bob

Malt centric brewery with none of the unbalanced hop heavy brews at so many brewers now a days. Very friendly staff and owner and not a bad beer in the house. Try a flight and you'll leave with at least one growler.

For the most part there is NO food, except for maybe pretzels. Curt, the owner is very generous in allowing his guests to bring in food or "order in food".
