The cathedral opens out onto a small plaza, but is surrounded by buildings making it difficult to gage its size. With a single unadorned tower, the facade bears some painted markings. The domes are difficult to see when circumnavigating the outside. Inside, the sanctuary is...More

Grand and beautiful cathedral with a very opulent interior. There is a 2 euro admission charge which I haven't had to pay before. But it's well worth the small charge of course.

In Orihuela there are many churches and convents, its great past from the late Middle Ages note. The cathedral is a must to visit especially for interior decorations.

A fine example of the wonderful architecture of Spanish cathedrals, located just a short stroll away from Iglesia Santas Justas y Rufina.

Small but perfectly formed with some interesting pieces especially the choir and the organ. The cloisters provide a pleasant place to stroll. Be careful about visit times-closed Mondays and on Sundays you need to time carefully pre or post mass

A good church to visit, we especially like the architecture of the cloister buildings. Orihuela is blessed with several fine gothic or baroque style churches, all worth a visit.

After taking the trouble to find this building, we were disappointed to find that it was closed, so what it's like inside is still a mystery to us. From the outside it looks like many, many other churches we have visited in Spanish towns and...More
