Agreed, the tour guide, dressed in the costume of the time, spoke only German, but Bamberg is really more of a German tourist destination, not that many English speakers come here, so they don't have a lot of tours in English. However, for those that...More

All I remember is, there's a lot of weapon from the time of Knight wearing steel armor and sword horse riding to the battle field, some old time gun and canon also available... the question is how they use that very long sword....

We were there for a party, which had been organised on a very grand scale. The public rooms are very grand, palatial even, verging on the edge of camp, the hotel bedrooms likewise - although for the price I would like to have had air...More

This review is only focusing on the walking trail around the castle (Panoramaweg) which I did with my two boys. The trail was perfect for us as it goes up and down and has some exciting rocks and caves along the way. My boys (12...More

We enjoyed a full family day of fun here doing the Castle, Cave, and Falconry. Parking was free and is centrally located. This is on the Castle Road Tour. There is a “combo ticket” to buy for the Castle and the Cave together. Pictures were...More
