The gold star families park & memorual is placed on Chigago's great park on the entrance of the stadium, all the stadium was done thinking in the memorial and has a amazing arquiteture.

This is an excellent memorial to visit while walking lakefront, or when visiting Solider Field. It shouldn't be that much of an effort to visit, and is very touching. The park also provides an excellent vantage point to Soldier Field, across the street.

Went with the family to the St. Jude's March to commemorate fallen officers. It is a great scene... You have many, many officers from all over Chicago marching to commemorate their fallen colleagues and you hear the bagpipes playing in the background which sound amazing....More

Dedicated in 2006, the memorial pays tribute to all of the police officers who have died in the line and performance of duty since the formation of the Chicago Police Department in the 1830s.
