This is a fun theater in Lincoln Park that sponsors several comedy shows. We went on a Saturday night, with tickets to Improv Shakespeare. I'm not a huge lover of improv comedy, but this was fantastic; the Improv Shakespeare cast was enormously talented and picked-up...More

We attended an improv show at the this theater on a Saturday. Over all, it was pretty funny. I would say that the 2nd group was funnier than the 1st group. Come a little bit buzzed and be prepared for anything.

The Improvised Shakespeare Company should be seen by all! I have never laughed so hard - there were tears streaming down my face. On the spot improve in iambic pentameter is hard to beat.

While taking a comedy writing class here, I attended a story telling event which was enjoyable if not well-attended. The stories were quite riveting (and humorous), but suggested that there could be some growth in the richness of the story telling community here in Chicago....More

Went into Chicago for a weekend of fun. The IO is on the list! It's an easy walk from the Redline Clyborne stop. Grab your tickets online as they sell out. We always get there early for an upfront spot. Whirled News is a blast...More

Even if the Improv Shakespeare show hadn't been so ridiculously funny, we would still have had a nice night in the bar: good selection of beers and a nice friendly atmosphere. The show itself was incredible. The fact that they can come up with an...More
