I came across this monument after visiting the nearby Lincoln Park Conservatory. The monument isn’t that interesting to be honest. Just a statue of Abraham Lincoln. Not worth a visit, but if it’s in your path, why not?

My family has visited here a couple times over the past few years. The Lincoln Monument is definitely a must see when in Washington, DC. Seeing Lincoln sitting there makes you think back to the life he lived and the weight of things that were...More

The monument is of Lincoln standing by a chair. It is set on a raised semi-circle area with a bench in the raised area. Since the statue is in Lincoln Park it is quite appropriate that the statue stands tall - it is also lit...More
