Take a step back in time to the Gilded Age with banker Samuel Nickerson's mansion. Explore all three floors of the museum and discover how the Nickerson family lived and socialized. Tours are an extra $5, but well worth it.

Gilded Age mansion completely restored and furnished. Came for last year's French Posters exhibit. Didn't realize that the space itself was going to be the real draw! Check times before arriving to sync with guided tours. Recommended, but not required as very detailed, well placed...More

Don't miss this awesome original home erected in the Gilded Age. Fine architecture and furnishings on three floors with audio and tour guides available. Step back in time to appreciate Chicago's opulent living from this age.

We had a wonderful time touring this amazing building. Such beautiful rooms filled with wondrous furnishings one can only be in awe of. Enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. Audrey at the admission desk was so friendly, great representation of the place.
