- DavidO99Azle, Texas70 contributionsGreat tour for sports fans and non sports fansMy son really wanted to go to the Wrigley Field tour. He is a big sports fan. Myself and my other son are not but we went with him. The tour was actually very interesting and even us non sports people enjoyed it. Our tour guide was Cooper and he did a great job sharing stories and history that made it interesting. Wrigley Field has a classic vibe about it too.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 12, 2024
- EricLos Angeles, California17 contributionsSuch a fun experience.Such a fun experience. We went on a rainy day but the access and information the tour guides provided made this such a fun activity. I'm not a big baseball fan but learning about Wrigley Field and all the history was a great addition to our trip.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 5, 2024

I will definitely be back in Chicago eventually for a game. Unfortunately, the season had just ended when I visited back in October. - TravelingWriterMcCalla, Alabama49 contributionsBaseball fan or not, this tour is a must-do for ChicagoI'm not a big baseball fan, but after this tour I'm definitely a Wrigley Field fan. We learned a lot not only about the Cubs and the field, but about Chicago and its people. I planned the visit for when the team was away, because you get to see more. We went in the dugout, the press box, the bleachers, and the field level (but not on the grass!). Our guide regaled us with stories about the Bleacher Bums, the announcers, and the history of the Cubs as a team. Many things we associate with baseball started in Chicago (or at least they take credit for it). Great tour.Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 21, 2024
- BAHuston3Langhorne, Pennsylvania3,712 contributionsGreat tour down memory laneJacob provided an amazing and insightful tour on the history of Wrigley Field and baseball. We were in the stands behind home plate, outfield bleacher seats, on the field (right field) and in the press box, where Harry Carey did his broadcasting and singing,” take me out to the ball game…” I am a Yankee fan, but we lived in Chicago in the mid 1980’s, and always had a place in my heart for Chicago and the Chicago Cubs. The tour was a great throw back to baseball history for all baseball and the Cubbies. Thank you to Jacob for your enthusiastic presentation during our 90 minute tour. I highly recommend this tour for everyone… Enjoy!!!Visited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 25, 2024
- Steve R3 contributionsOur Highest RecommendationLots of great memories here... And made even more today! My brother and I took our 87 year old father on the Wrigley Field Tour today. It was fantastic. Such a great and rare opportunity to see this historic park from vantage points we've only dreamed of until today. But a special thanks to the staff and crew. They couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. And that goes for every person we met from the time we stepped foot on the grounds. Our tour guide, Clay was terrific. His knowledge, his delivery, his sense of humour all added to our enjoyment. Special thanks to Shauna, as well, who stayed back with us as we were a little slower and needed a bit more help getting around. I'll be back and will bring my kids and grandkids in the future! - Amy Chasing SunriseNew Boston, New Hampshire32 contributionsLoved this ExperienceMy son and I decided that we wanted the behind-the-scenes tour of Wrigley while visiting Chicago. We got a retired high school teacher as our guide, and he created a lively and educational experience for us. One of our favorite experiences, second only to the science and industry museum.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 22, 2024
- D B94 contributionsMoney well spent. Ask for LarryI had an amazing time touring the stadium with my friend. I am a Yankees fan he is a Braves fan, but we both appreciated learning about the history of Wrigley Feild from Larry. There was not a question Larry could not answer. After the tour, we gained a whole new appreciation for the stadium. Ask for Larry. He has to be the best guide they have.Visited November 2024Traveled with friendsWritten November 11, 2024

We were the first tour of the 2023 season, so the tour guide was sweetly apologetically rusty forgetting her lines/facts and getting cues from the audience googling the answers. But, that was not why I gave the average rating. We expected more period. This tour did not deliver, but candidly we have done other baseball field tours in other states, and this one was really lacking. Why? Well, we did not get to see those behind the scenes exclusive locations we were told about like the players’ locker room areas and workout areas - off limits! We could see the visiting teams locker room which we were told was the most historic area. Ok. No special touches on this tour - no special sticker or souvenir. No cubs logo spot for selfies. Can’t touch or go on the field. Ivy not blooming but dormant now. The bathroom was clean & operational - a treat we were told. (Not kidding, here.). 60 people on the tour being briskly herded up the bleachers like cattle & we were literally told we were like cats. We paid for this?

As first-time visitors to Chicago, we were looking forward to a tour of the iconic Wrigley Field. It was interesting, with lots of background stories.
But we were very disappointed to see the baseball field was now set up for college football. So, not only did we not get the experience of looking out at the diamond and imaging some of baseball's greats standing at home plate or running the bases, but all our pictures from this one and only visit have goalposts, yard lines, and purple pennants for Northwestern University! Very disappointing.
This should have been indicated in the description before we made our reservation, or the tour should have been discounted because of it.

Last tour of the day on May 9th 2023, we've taken a lot of other tours of stadiums this last year & this by far was the one that was not worth it at all. For the high cost, especially compared to other stadium tours. Walked around the stands, and was talked to by the tour guide, lasted maybe 45 minutes, history I could have read online. No tours of any special areas, No interior rooms, no press box area or clubhouse area etc. Nothing at all. I saw the same stuff we saw on the tour that evening during the game. But do not recommend this tour at all. They apparently make a little over $2 million dollars a year just on doing tours. Don't waste your money. Just wait till you go to the game and you can walk around to see the same things. Talk to the people working the games, they are great resource.

We attended the Wrigley Field Tour on Thursday 13th July on the 11am tour that was led by Roger Schnorr.
From the start to the end the tour was thoroughly enjoyable. Roger was a wonderful tour operator and you could tell his authentic passion for the Chicago Cubs and the game baseball. The tour was full of interesting facts, history and humour.
Roger is a credit to the Wrigley Field Tour Team and made our experience fantastic.
I would highly recommend this tour to people considering this.

Informative 90-minute tour through this historic stadium. Kenny was our guide and he did a great job walking us through the venue and providing many tidbits of information. Were able to go on to the field and in the Cubs dugout, but the tour did not include any other “behind the scenes” visits (no visit to locker rooms, which was disappointing).

Our tour guide was Jim and he was excellent. He made Wrigley and the history of the Cubs come alive. We had a second guide, James who assisted my wife due to her wheelchair, giving special attention via elevators, to keep us with the other guest. He was full of additional information, stories and friendliness. Coming from Boston, we know a beautiful ballpark when we see one. Wrigley is one of the most beautiful and historic baseball fields in all of baseball.
Make sure to take this tour, walk on the field, stand next to the ivy covered outfield wall, sit in the Cubs dugout and enjoy! Just great. Thanks Jim and James.

Enjoyed this tour on a day when the Cubs were out of town. A lot of walking but you see so much of the park. The tour guide made the park come alive and shared so much of the rich history of the park. We couldn’t go in the Cubs clubhouse but were able to visit the much smaller visitors clubhouse. Worth the two hours invested.

The tour was fun. It was a game day tour. The tour was almost 60 mins. First stop was the field, where we could take pictures. We sat in various sections of the field including a hike to the bleachers and listed to stories told by the guide and then it was time to leave.

This was just absolutely amazing! Roger our tour guide was a 10. Super friendly and knowledgeable, what a great guy! We loved getting the behind the scenes stories and history of the stadium. A must see! Only downfall was the grass was pulled up for ice skating rink being put in for winter.....didn't get the real beauty of the Kentucky bluegrass Wrigley is iconic for....but overall a great tour and highly recommend! Thank you for a great time.

I have been to many ballpark tours (over 20) and the Wrigley Field tour was the best. Brian and Roger were the tour leaders. They could not have been better. Knowledgeable, funny and polite. They spoke so that everyone could hear them. Just a great tour. I would recommend it to everyone.

How close can you get to the ivy if you take the regular tour? Close enough to have it in the background of a picture?
Written May 8, 2019
I don't think so. the tour ends at home plate. the background when you take pics is the infield. they tell you if you touch the ivy, youre off the to0ur. pretty strict.
