In large American cities, climbing to the top of skyscrapers is common, and Chicago is no exception. From here the panorama extends from the city center to the lake, proving to be quite beautiful.
The "Tilt" experience for which another 9 dollars must be paid, in my opinion is not at all unmissable. As far as I'm concerned, I feel more dizzy when looking out from a terrace than leaning on this glass that tilts about 45 degrees towards the void.
In summary I definitely recommend going up to the observatory, while I would recommend the tilt with reservations.

The 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck offers wonderful views of the Chicago skyline and the Lake Michigan shore. As the name of the attraction says (and weather permitting), one can take great pictures of the city in all directions. I strongly recommend buying the Chicago City PASS, if planning to visit other attractions in the town, since the combo price is much cheaper than buying individual tickets for each attraction.

The most amazing views! The tilt experience was great and I thought, reasonably priced! Staff were nice and queues moved fast. Only thing that stopped it being a 5 was the cost of the photos. You expect to pay a bit more at these things but I felt $30 for one print was excessive.
Would definitely recommend when in Chicago!

Prebooked the sip, tilt and view tickets for 6pm. 7pm comes along and we’re still queuing as it’s packed with people and the place is so hot. Felt dizzy queuing because they don’t allow drinks about 5 mins past the front door and it was so hot with nowhere to sit. We got to do the tilt at 7:30pm, went to view our photos but saw the price of them from the people in front of us and were so shocked. The bar was so so busy we had to just leave in the end without getting anything our tickets promised apart from the tilt. Feel like I’ve wasted so much money as it’s not cheap either. They should stop letting so many people book at once especially since they have allocated time slots. Missed out on everything our ticket promised apart from the tilt due to this.

Please email us at info@360chicago.com with more information about your visit. We'd love the chance to make it up to you and look forward to hearing from you.

An awesome place to be at. Take the elevator up to the 94th floor and you will be greeted to great views of Downtown Chicago and the surrounding neighbourhoods. Go especially at night, the view is much prettier then.
My only complaint would be that it can get a bit boring here while you wait to go up to the top. I didn't think too much about this until I also went up the Sears Tower a few days later. The Sears Tower has gone under a complete makeover where there are many photo op stations and interactive exhibits featuring the history of Chicago. If the John Hancock Center did this as well, then my review would be 5 stars.
Otherwise this place is well worth the admission price to go up to the 94th floor, even though it is a bit pricey. You won't regret it.

It’s one of those Chicago tick box attractions I guess, & I did enjoy my visit. It was a clear but quiet day, so a seamless, no queue experience for me.
Goes without saying, the views are incredible. I opted for the View & Sip ticket, which encompassed entry & a syrupy cocktail in the naff Cloudbar. I figured after the syrupy cocktail I might psyche myself up to do‘Tilt’, the touristy add on which involves being tipped at an angle via a moveable glass & steel platform, over the side of the building, enabling sick bucket inducing, downward facing views of the city streets 1000ft below. l did, & it was petrifying, but blessedly short. As with these kind of attractions, it’s a factory line, with the usual overpriced cheesy photos & tat shop. Quite a well known wheeze if you want to experience the views but avoid the queues & not pay entry, is to whizz straight up the dedicated elevator to the Signature Lounge, where you can admire the vistas for the price of a syrupy cocktail, or touristy meal!

Complete waste of money, 3 attempts where we had to reschedule due to zero visibility (absolutely understand that isn’t their fault!) however no refund if you’re unable to do it due to weather - $200 completely wasted, and they don’t care at all..
Do not prebook, better to wait and see if there is any visibility otherwise they’ll happily take your money for absolutely nothing.
Dreadful experience

Thanks a lot for the feedback, Sarah. Also, great advice about checking the weather before booking! Although weather concerns and changes are out of our control and can occur at random, we hope to see you again on a day with clear skies!

My wife and I went during sunset. There were a nice size crowd taking in the views of the city as the sun began to set. It was fun to experience the lean-out window that makes it appear you are falling, but it was quick (something to experience, but I won't do it again). The glare from the overhead interior lights will show as reflections in your images of the city (you may not care). Don't use flash if you can help it. You do get to see a lot of Chicago on all four sides. There is seating away from the windows to experience the sunset/sunrises. This is a fun experience. Also you can grab a bite at the resturants ground level like Benihanna, Cheese Cake Factory.

The view is great, as you might expect. But the "adult sip and see" tickets are absolutely not worth it. Cheap drinks served in a plastic glass, and no seats in an overheated lounged filled with kids. And the wait to get up and down the elevators was like waiting for a ride at Disney. It just wasn't at all like it was advertised. Next time I would just go to the 96th floor Signature lounge to have a cocktail and admire the views. We learned of this from some other travelers we met there. Travel and learn.

We visited and did Chicago 360 with Tilt, and since it was the night before my birthday, got the package with the drink. It was a good experience, but not as great as I expected. The staff who were running the downstairs activities, the elevator, and the bar were very nice, welcoming, and helpful. However , the employees who were working the Tilt were not any of those things. I basically felt as if my children and I were putting them out by being there. It was a new experience for my kids, and they were apprehensive. The demeanor of the e plain that area DID NOT help. Additionally, I feel I paid a decent ticket price for this activity, but half of the 94th floor was under construction. There was no bar, everything was canned. The area to sit was small and very limited, and one side was completely blocked off. I wish I had known about the construction before I visited.

Thanks for this great tip. Do you have a picture of the entrance? I did hear there is a smart way of getting to the bar but others mention you always need a ticket. Just want to be sure where the "free" entrance is.

Hello There, thank you for visiting to my profile, for your answer, i am not sure if there is a free way to get access, but from the entrance i was using, there was a security guy who guides you to follow and purchase the ticket. I have a picture of the entrance i used for, it is was night time the number of the building was not able to see from the picture, but there is an other building with a big name ( RAFFAELLO ) on the same street of the entrance, if it may help you. I am going attaché a new picture of the 360 sky deck says the entrance on my photo posting site. Thank you again. peace

How do I purchase the pictures from my 360 Chicago Observation visit yesterday, Thursday, July 20, 2023?
Written July 21, 2023
You have to have the card that they gave you and that has a QR code you can scan or a number you can enter onto the website that’s on the card. But beware the pictures are $50. That’s your only choice. You cannot just pick one and buy one you must buy a whole package and the minimum cost is $50. After not letting you take pictures!
