It’s a mile of shops, that are not undercover so walking between each shop, if it’s raining you will get wet which is a shame. Plenty of shops, however I prefer a mall that is undercover so I don’t get wet!

If you like shopping & eating, this is the "mile" for you. Shops & restaurant & hotels are lined both sides of this strip. You cannot walk here & not buy anything to wear or eat. It's great for people-watching too.

Lots of brand shops, restaurants and cafés. Definitely worth a walk up and down. Interesting buildings especially the Tribune Tower which has bits of other famous buildings, such as the Houses of Parliament London, cemented into its walls. The John Hancock Centre is also worth...More

Looking for flagship shopping from fast fashion to luxury this is your choice. Everyone has their best assortments right on Michigan Ave. Only detour you will have to make is for Macy's. Water tower Macy's is nice but State Street is the real gem.

Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
