Very pretty bridge and architecture. Super heavy traffic and lots of honking, but it is the city after all. Panhandlers on all sides of the bridge which why it gets a 4.

Its really nice walking through the bridge, having a look at the river and as mentioned before you will have watery eyes after your visit when watching Harrison Ford in Fugitive.

The best bridge in the city and the one you always see in pictures and films. Very historic with 4 towers on each corner of the bridge.

I walked across this bridge 2 times, this steel bridge has a bounce to it as the heavy traffic drives across. You can take photos of the river and river front from this bridge.

Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.

There are plenty of mass transit ways to get there as well as an Uber. Also plenty to do shopping experience wise and dining.

I'd use public transportation to get downtown instead of trying to drive and park downtown. And there is too much traffic to really see anything while you're driving.
