I was looking forward to visiting the military museum however it was disappointing. There was some interesting displays but hardly anything written in English or Romanian.

We were very fortunate that we visited when it was really quite and one of the museum staff escorted us around the exhibits. She didn’t speak English but ensured we got the most from what was on offer.

This museum is chaotic, not hugely catering to foreign visitors but you can really transform yourself to the tragic era(s) of the Moldavian history and that of the nations which were once a part of the Soviet Union.
