This is a real gem and is bigger than you would think. It covers a lot of the history of Moldova. There are many exhibits showing the sad times of occupation.

This museum is chaotic, not hugely catering to foreign visitors but you can really transform yourself to the tragic era(s) of the Moldavian history and that of the nations which were once a part of the Soviet Union.
