The overall tour that we took involved visits to the Tahiti Museum, the Vaipahi Gardens and a temple. The museum had some interesting exhibits but was quite stuffy & humid as the air-conditioning was not working, the gardens were small but quite attractive with some...More

We visited in May and it was too hot to do the trail into the trees, but we did the short walk along the water garden path which took about 10-15 minutes. It was a bit underwhelming; despite a beautiful little waterfall at the beginning,...More

This place is nothing special and hardly worth the stop. It's nice enough but nearly all the plants are non-native and the place is not even well landscaped. Possibly worth stopping for 10-20 minutes as you drive past but not worth a special journey.

We went to these gardens as part of a shore tour on our cruise. A lovely place for those who enjoy the beauty and tranquility of gardens. Quite nice, not overly big, good to wander around and enjoy some of the lovely flora of Tahiti.

Part of a day-long tour of the area, we stopped to enjoy the native flowers and plants, take a short trail walk, and visit the clean restroom. If I hadn't been on a tour, I would have enjoyed spending more time exploring the gardens. As...More

An absolutely lovely display of 🌸 flowers. All the island flora wrapped into one lovely area. A small gift shop is on the premises. Pretty small selection of goods. The bathrooms need a bit of attention and toilet paper. Adequate parking and the price is...More

During our island tour we stopped at this privately owned Water Gardens of Vaipahi. Even though we visited on a rainy day I did enjoy the walk through the gardens discovering the unusual and lovely flowers/flora of Tahiti. Since we live in an arid section...More

Iaorana.you should have to take the bus to Papeari or Taravao. At the bus stop in town, just look Taravao or Papeari in the front of the bus or ask the driver. It runs every hour.
