If your like me and feeling the heat at all times this is the place for you. There is a little trek out to the cave area but it is an easy walk not lots of boulders to step on or climb like other places....More

We had seen this attraction in the Idaho guide and thought we would visit while in the area. It was interesting, well explained and different than anything we had seen before. I would say reasonably priced and it was discounted for seniors. I think it...More

Easy to get to. Parking for RVs/Motorhomes. Guided tours which give good explanations. Decent pathways on the lava flows. Stairs to and from, but not too stenuous. Bring a jacket... ICE Cave... We're glad we went. We did not go to Mammoth Cave, but wish...More

My husband & I had a wonderful time. The lady at the little store (where you pay for your tour $10 per adult) was really nice and out going. The tour guide was a really sweet young lady. She was knowledgeable about the cave. There...More

Had a great time. A very "mom & pop" type site. Need better media exposure- better website. During the end if season, tours are only on the hour. Guide could use more knowledge, but she was fun. Gift shop is commercial with very few local...More

When 94F outside and 32F inside the cave, it feels wonderful. It's amazing to think there is a natural ice cave in the middle of the desert, but there is.

The story about the discovery of this cave and the removal of the ice was fascinating. After the cave was destroyed by opening up the area to "mine" more ice the geological process was ruined and all the ice melted. Restoring the entrance/exit has allowed...More
