Schweitzer is in a beautiful location, has good terrain, and excellent lifts. So why rate it only 3 stars. Literally every time I have been there it is raining or snowing or blowing or skiing in a cloud or some combination. Today was terrible visibility...More

March in Sandpoint Idaho is a great ski time. Blue bird days, fresh powder, varied terrain. The spring fling pass is the best ski deal in the world! A fun mountain full of friendly people:)

Schweitzer is large ski are with 2900 acres. There is a good variety of terrain with nice steep drop offs from the triple. We used the old double lift a lot because it serviced some of the best terrain and took you up 1900 feet....More

We made the mistake of renting from Alpine instead of Schweitzer. It was steep, but it was definitely quality equipment. I was teaching my partner how to ski and the “bunny slope” was huge and long so there was plenty of room and time for...More

My son is an avid skier and my daughter is a beginner. They both had a good time at downhill and cross country skiing. There were many slopes open and were well maintained. There are also various hotel options close by.
