Stopped at Round Lake for a few nights before heading on to Montana. Small campground and lake. No motors or houses. Very enjoyable for SUP or kayaks. Took bikes on trail around lake. Will recommend this to anyone headed to Sandpoint area.

Adorable quiet campground (10 pm quiet time). We loved the lake and loved that you can rent kayaks and paddle boards. Would definitely stay again!

Been going here for 40 years. Our kids grew up there during the summer. They enjoyed it so much, they still go there today, with their kids. Camping, swimming, fishing, hiking.

My relatives downgrade this place because they camp in big trailers, party hardy, and want to stay up late. If you are looking for a lovely lake without gas engines, no 4-wheelers, and lots of fish, give it a try. I've camped here for decades,...More

We camped in a tent 3 nights at Round Lake and used it as a base for visiting other areas. It's about 10 miles south of Sandpoint, Idaho. It has great trees and shade, lots of birds -- we saw 2 bald eagles, and a...More

We enjoyed hiking around the lake. It was an easy hike even for kids! There was not much elevation change. We will do it again.

Depends on your rig. Center circle more for pull thru, tents on edges. More highway noise on north side. Lake closer on south, but more hikers and kids. Green grass on west side, but sprinklers keep tents off at night... More
