We had a spectacular horseback ride highlighted by views of the mountains and lake with the Redfish Lake Corrals. We chose this as the water was a bit rough for our planned kayak paddle. The lake is lovely with the surrounding peaks. We noted people...More

Redfish Lake is one of the truly beautiful spots in Idaho. There is a lot of recreation available including horseback riding, boating and water skiing. Hiking trails take you into the fabulous Sawtooth Mountains.

This is one of the most charming places in America. Think 1950s America without the racism! Even if you go for just an afternoon this place is worth checking out and relaxing in. It is truly a special place.

Stopping at this beautiful Idaho spot is always a treat. Anyone not from the Swiss Alps will find the views spectacular, the recreational choices wide, the people very friendly and the food very good and well priced. Wiggle your toes in the sand, wade or...More

We took a drive up to Redfish Lake while staying in Ketchum this past summer. The lake is beautiful and allowed for my kids to wade without any scary drop-offs. Since the water was shallow on the shore it was warm and presented pleasant conditions...More

Good question. When I was there last fall I did see several boats on the lake, but don't know if they were rentals or owned. You might want to check with the lodge. If anyone rents them, they would know..
