Went on the plane tour. Well worth the price and the sights were magnificent. Beautiful and interesting. We also strolled along the floating pier and walked the beach front....all very enjoyable and relaxing.

We enjoyed the Father's Day brunch at Coeur d'Alene Resort (was our 40th Anniversary), stayed at a house on the east side of lake booked through VRBO (loved it), enjoyed a float plane ride and boat ride on the lake - great area to vacation!...More

Spectacular beauty everywhere you look. The cool water is very refreshing especially during summer. The weather can be wacky when winds are from the south.

We visited several places on Coeur d'Alene Lake. We kayaked twice once for 8 miles and second for 4 miles. The lake and surrounding mountains are beautiful. We watched the 4th of July fireworks from a boat on Coeur d'Alene Lake.

Beautiful, big lake. Lots of activities available - plus areas to just sit, relax, and enjoy the beauty. Even driving alongside the lake is nice. Definitely find some time to enjoy the lake when here.

Yes the beach is free There are parking lots where you pay. Or just park on the street for free, 2 hour limit in close. Or go about four blocks away for free all day. We drive a 33foot motorhome so go 4 blocks away.

Take the low trail to the west around tubs hill. You will find a beach at the southern most point. This location is nearby downtown CDA.
