Lucky Peak State Park is a great place to take the family. We enjoy relaxing by the water, and having a picnic. We have gone here for many years, and find it a pleasant place.

I was surprised at how pretty this park was. I mark this as average because there was so much goose poop everywhere. Kinda wish someone would clean it up!

I suppose boating at the reservoir is close enough... It's always great to see a place like this from the water; especially on a hot day. There were some pretty cool rocks and scenery; all of which you would sort of expect in the great...More

Lots of history in this place. My first visit was back in 1963. We caught more fish in one day that we've ever caught anyplace else.

I don't think that would be wise. It's dry and there's a bit of a dip off the road. Doesn't seem like the right place to do that, especially safety for other people in the vicinity.
