It has been a while since we were actually inside the museum. Our Freedoms are kept visible here with all the reminders of the Men who have served.

This small museum packs a lot of information. Tanks, planes, trucks and other large equipment stand outside. Inside there are displays covering Idaho's military history. Small gift shop. A must for history buffs.

The Idaho Military History Museum is a wonderful tribute and remembrance of those who served this country of ours. From uniforms to medals, newspaper clippings and planes, you get a feel of Idaho's military involvement and dedication. A nice day trip.

Good place to stop while in the area. Free of charge, self guided. And lucky enough that the base next door had a military F15 land while we were there.
