We drove around Tybee Island to explore the beach houses, beaches, and town amenities. It looks like a great summer-fun place for families and making great memories!!

we stayed on the river side of the beach,as opposed to the ocean side. i did not see any vendors with chairs, etc. and there are no changing facilities or food vendors either. most of that side has condos and houses fronting the beach, and it's pretty quiet. the neatest place for food is Gerald's Pig & Shrimp about an 8-block walk. it's a beautiful stretch of beach, though, almost like having a private beach!
