What an experience! The re-enactors dressed in period outfits - and they know their history! NOTE: if you are able and the tide is low, a must see is the cockspur lighthouse.

This was well worth the trip. We went on one of the guided tour. The Ranger did a fantastic job. She shared so much history. While it was fun to just walk around the fort, the tour is a must.
