A little out of the way but it is packed with features like picnic areas, unpaved walking trails and paved walking/bike trails. We visited just down the road from here and really enjoy our visits. The Visitor's center has limited hours but sells park items...More

If hiking and bike riding is your thing to do outdoors, then you will love it. The staff ensures that you have a great time. They are helpful and give great advice.

Our soccer teams enjoyed an end-of-season picnic at this park. My children attended summer camps here, too. The park has much to offer for hikes, nature study, or just relaxing....

The very first time I visited was awesome! Liked the lakes and paths! It’s beautiful when we’re having lots rain for the lakes. A good getaway for the family!

Such a beautiful park! They have off the path trails as well as paved paths. You can walk or ride your bikes and even rent bikes. They have paddle boat rentals at the lake, tree climbing classes, archery classes and archery trails to go on....More

I walk there a couple of times a week. You can learn some ecology with a guided tour. The year long parking pass is good for other state parks, too.

have never seen one or any signs of bears. Even if you don't see a bear the bear you will see signs. Overturned trash bins, any bags, containers ripped open, trees scraped as they itch and massage their backs, musky smell... More

Panola Mountain Park is northeast of Stockbridge, and there are no hotels in this immediate area. Try mapping Stockbridge or Conyers facilities; my guess is that Conyers is physically closer.
