Gone with the wind is my mother's favorite movie. I've seen it at least 20 times. But taking a trip down this memory lane was a bit lack luster to say the least. Maybe you like with vintage dresses and the smell of your grandmas...More

I have been looking forward to going to this museum for years. I finally had the chance and was completely disappointed. I would hardly call it a museum. It was four rooms with like a few things in each room. The entire front room is...More

This was a cool museum dedicated to gone with the wind movie but it was just not what I expected. They had a couple costumes from the movie but there were not many genuine props from the movie. I had a good time visiting but...More

This is 2018. Bringing a 79 year old film to life for today's potential viewers or readers is a HUGE challenge! First I would start with having the soundtrack playing within the small space that is the recreation of Tara. For $7.00, I would expect...More

The museum is a collection of privately owned artifacts. It is average and has some interest for a Gone With the Wind fan. We had been told and seen on a website the museum housed the facade of Tara but that is not true. There...More

I have been to this museum twice, once with my wife and once with my granddaughter. If you are in downtown Marietta and you love Gone With The Wind, you shouldn’t miss it. It is right next to the hotel where General Sherman stayed during...More

I have a Gone with the Wind 41" by 27" Gone with the Wind picture. It is a very nice picture in a very beautiful frame. It was got from an antique shop for me as a gift but I was trying to sale it. It was listed there for $400 I was trying to sale it. I was wondering if yall could either had someone there who could tell me what it is worth or knew where I could take it to Have someone look at it and tell me what it is worth. I also was wondering if yall bought stuff like this at your location or once again if you knew someone I could get in contact with about trying to sale it. I have been looking online but have not really had much luck. It is 41" by 27" very pretty frame. It is still 100% like new condition still. It has been in my closet since it was given to me. I love the movie and picture but it is just to big for me to put out. This picture is the picture that is hanging over the fireplace in there home in Atlanta, her in the blue dress with the white lace rap on. My name is Victoria Higginbotham and any information you might be able to give me to help figure out what it is worth or how to find someone who might buy it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your time. You could also email me at victoriah012384@yahoo or contact me by at 770 990-6300.
