Lived in Marietta all my life! I still learnwd quite a bit visiting this museum!! Has a nice gift shop too. Seniors $5 to get in. Well worth it! Wish I had gone sooner!

The museum is located in a building that once was a hospital for both sides in the Civil War. It is loaded with artifacts and history of Marietta and Cobb county. Be sure to make this a stop. The entry was only $7 per person.

Fun fact that this is the room where James Andrews planned the Great Locomotive Chase. Cherokee Indian maps and archaeological finds.

Very interesting place to visit. First picture is of an old electric hair curler. Second shows only a small amount of the gun and rifle collection. Lots of other old stuff to see here.
