This is a great State Park. It has yurts, traditional camping and cabins. Many of the campsites have great views of the lake!

This was our first visit to this state park and it was a very positive one. The sites are well manicured, shaded, and good size for most campers. Many, if not most, of these sites are waterfront. Bathrooms were adequate but limited to 2 showers...More

My 2 kids and I stayed in Yurt #1. The yurt is very roomy, with a double bed, and bunks. The website says the top bunk is a twin, but it’s really more like a double. Other furniture include a small(ish) counter height table and...More

We went camping the latter half of spring break with our teens. We had to drive around for about an hour before finding a campsite. We stayed in #96 which was a pull thru close to the bath house. It was crowded but we made...More

When we arrived at the park we went straight to the visitors center which is easily noticeable (thank goodness) and they helped us check in right away. We hadn't realized that it would be so busy here we did have to ride around for a...More

My husband and I drove through Tugaloo while we were visiting the area. What a wonderful park! Lots of good camping spaces and some on the lake. We can't wait to come camping here!

There is 10 yurts here. There is one ADA yurt. It is at the parking lot at the top of the hill. The rest of the yurts are down hill from the parking lot. You need a lot of energy to take your camping equipment...More

We love going to the beach and taking a picnic lunch or dogs for the grill. We always have a game or two of putt putt golf. The cabins are nice & roomy, not always clean though. The best part of Tugaloo for me is...More

Nice, quiet, secluded and calm. Very few people around so a real treat. You can even sleep in a Yurt right by the beach/lake. Color coded walking trails - just make sure you buy a parking ticket ($5)

I came here with friends to see the eclipse. I've never been camping before, and I probably will never do it again. But if I had to camp again - I hope it's like my experience at Tugaloo. The site had an electric and water...More

Yurts overlook the water. It's down hill but just a short walk up from the shore after being out on the lake. Longer walk down from the car with the kayaks to the Yurts. They have carts though.
