Nice area to walk around in. None of the 4 kids, ages 6-12, were interested in touring homes. Perhaps in cooler weather it would be more of an attraction for them.

We enjoyed walking around reading the historical plaques. We found great food and a view for dinner at the wharf. Jekyll island club staff were very nice.

Yes. They have sidewalks that are great for getting around all the historic bldgs. Not sure if the carriage would be accessible, it was hard for us to get in those.

yes many places to rent. Many of the hotels on island will rent you bikes for a reasonable price
