As an aviation buff, I could not pass up a stop at the WW II flight training museum. Although small in size, a fantastic assortment of fascinating aviation memorabilia is maintained inside. The guide is extremely knowledgeable on the subject and very personable. If you...More

We enjoyed the tour. My son and I found it very interesting. Best part was a bomber that took part in D-day. They are also rebuilding a B-17. It's about a 45 minute tour and free.

Took the tour while attending Bikes/Blues/BBQ rally at the Douglas airport. While the size is small, the displays are interesting, and worth the time spent. Really not a lot here, but hope our small donation helps preserve this piece of WWII history.

This is all that's left to see of the WWII training facility. A few bits of memorabilia from the era. They are obviously existing on a shoestring, supported by donations. We supported.

This is a great little museum related to a WWII Flight Training program located in Douglas, Georgia. The site is the actual location of the flight training school which operated during WWII. The buildings are original with several being restored and utilized. The museum has...More
