This museum is located in Douglas, GA, a bit off the path for most tourist traffic. The museum is a unique, one of a kind museum that focuses on the training US Army Air Corps pilots and air crew went through during WW2. I've seen...More

We enjoyed the tour. My son and I found it very interesting. Best part was a bomber that took part in D-day. They are also rebuilding a B-17. It's about a 45 minute tour and free.

Took the tour while attending Bikes/Blues/BBQ rally at the Douglas airport. While the size is small, the displays are interesting, and worth the time spent. Really not a lot here, but hope our small donation helps preserve this piece of WWII history.

This is all that's left to see of the WWII training facility. A few bits of memorabilia from the era. They are obviously existing on a shoestring, supported by donations. We supported.
