This is a small reserve in the back of the neighborhood butting up against the old North DeKalb Mall. They have improved the raised boardwalk, and there are many birders taking photos. Park on the street and enjoy.

Not much visited but is a great amenity for people in the area. If you live within 5 miles, definitely come and walk the trails sometimes. If you are from out of town, don't bother.

We had planned to go to Fernbank but it was a heavy visitor day and after several tries to park we left. we found this park on TripAdvisor a few miles away. It is evident that this natural beauty is well cared for by volunteers....More
