this is a great place for a bike ride, You can go from 50 miles to as little as 7.5 miles if you start from Psalm road. It is also a great walk to flatrock park where there are many walking trails.

Actually stopped in and Park and ride and rented a bike and biked all the way to Psalmond and back. The trail has runners, walkers and bikers on this trail and I met someone within every mile-not bad areas or scary-great time and excercise!

The fall line trace,, aka Rails to Trails, is a former railroad line. No longer used, the city turned it into a bike path. The best part is the relative flat grade of the land the asphalt paved path is on. Family's and racers alike...More

A wonderful amenity for Columbus. This rail trail path is both urban and rural. You can enjoy a wonderful 11 mile ride and then connect with the Riverwalk for even more miles!

I go here bunches! Miles of well-paved trail. Long hills, some shaded stretches. Lots of walkers, cyclists and runners through here. Well-maintained and frequently patrolled by police on bikes.

You don't see many new bridges devoted strictly to pedestrian use. This one is gorgeous. It's a convenient way to travel from Georgia to Alabama with the opportunity of watching the white-water rafters.

This place is always clean, feels safe, and is a great running/biking trail! Occasionally, you'll see a police officer on a bike patrolling the trail, which I appreciate. Near the end of the trail (the Midland side), it is pretty much all downhill one way...More
