We came for my kid’s birthday. We took a behind the scenes tour as well as the normal stuff that’s open to general admission. My kid had a blast. Hell, I had a blast! The caretakers seemed to love what they do and it shows...More

My girl friend and I had a great time on our wildlife walk and otter experience. The otters were our favorite part and we loved how social they were.

Tour was amazing. We were very impressed with the staff. The highlight for us was the part when we we're able to pet many of the animals we saw on the tour.Fantastic date night!

We did the wolf encounter and the wildlife walk, and they were both amazing. Everyone working here is so friendly and knowledgable. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area! They have a huge petting zoo area where you can feed and pet goats and...More

I recentmy visited the North GA Zoo with some friends (late 20s-early 30s) and we had a ball! We took a Wildlife Walk tour throughout the zoo that got you much closer to the animals than at a more traditional zoo. We booked a Cougar...More

My husband surprised me for my birthday as I am one who hates normal zoos because “who wants to look at animals when you can feed them and hold them!” If you feel the same way, I highly recommend the North Georgia Zoo! We had...More

We visit this zoo every year when we stay in Helen. We try to do a different experience every year. This year we chose the Sloths. When we arrived, we first did the Wildlife Walk. Although we have done this several times before our guide,...More

While we enjoyed our time at the zoo, I think it is important to point out that it is not a typical zoo. Like the website says, you will get dirty. Depending on the ticket you purchase, it ranges from a petting zoo to a...More

Petting zoo! It’s enough for a 2 year old and lots of fun. Otherwise the other tour is an hour (my kids wouldn’t have done well as toddlers!). and You really have to make sure children don’t wander.

I have no clue. I just found out about the Sloth Experience a week ago when they sent me the info. I would think it would be the same as the Wolf Experience. Hope this was some help.
